The Road Scholar Trip Protection Plan helps provide protection of your program payment at an excellent value because it:

• Helps protect your program payment if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip for a covered reason, such as an illness, injury or death [of you, your family member, your traveling companion, your traveling companion’s family member, or a business partner].

• Helps protect your airfare whether you purchase your airline tickets with Road Scholar or you make your own air arrangements.

• The plan’s Cancel For Any Reason Credit Feature* (non-insurance feature provided by Road Scholar) allows you to cancel your program for any reason not otherwise eligible for cash reimbursement and receive a credit good for future travel with Road Scholar for the full amount of the Road Scholar cancellation fee.

• Reimburses you for expenses you incur due to certain unexpected trip delays.

• Allows you to cancel and be reimbursed for your non-refundable program cost if you miss more than 50% of your program as a result of a covered trip delay.

• Covers pre-existing medical conditions (by waiving the pre-existing condition exclusion) if you purchase the plan within 14 days of your initial program payment/deposit to Road Scholar.

• Refunds your protection plan cost if Road Scholar cancels your program prior to the start date.
